The Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) is a Statutory Professional body established under the Human Resource Management Professionals (HRMP) Act, No. 52 of 2012. Its mandate is to regulate the HR profession in Kenya, enhance competencies and capabilities while supporting innovative and transformative HR practices and standards. IHRM is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management.
Regulate the practice, competence, and professional conduct of HR Professionals.
Register persons who meet the required professional and ethical standards.
Promote and protect the welfare and interests of the HR Profession
Engage in Public Policy formulation and advisory to the Government on HR Management. Labour policies and Professional Standards
